Humidor n.

A sealed container that holds cigars at controlled humidity and temperature.

A working humidor maintains 65–70% relative humidity and 18–21°C, the conditions in which Cuban cigars hold their structure and continue to age slowly. The interior is typically lined with Spanish cedar, which contributes to the cigar's aroma over time. A digital hygrometer is essential - analogue dial gauges drift quickly and are unreliable.
