Best cigar lounges in Geneva
4 venues rated 4.5 and above on Google, checked 20 September 2026. Ranked by rating, then by what the room is actually like.
Geneva is where serious collectors shop. Swiss tobacco duty is low, the Habanos importer is strong, and the humidors are among the best kept in Europe. Add the lakeside hotels and a lounge culture built for private banking clients, and it is the most comfortable cigar city on the continent.

Questions we get about Geneva
Are Cuban cigars cheaper in Geneva?
Usually, yes: Swiss duty is lower than in the UK or France. Personal import allowances apply when you leave, so check your home customs limit.
Which Geneva lounge has the biggest humidor?
The House of Grauer and El Septimo are the two specialist houses; the hotel lounges keep smaller but well-chosen selections.
Can I bring my own cigars?
Bring your own cigars only where the venue allows it; most lounges charge a cutting fee or expect you to buy from their humidor. A travel humidor and a two-finger cutter cover a weekend away.
Before you go
- Check the cigar is what it says it is: our box code guide and how to spot a fake.
- Travelling with a box? Keep it at 65–70% in a travel humidor; see humidification in the Library.
- Want it waiting at home? Authenticated Habanos, EMS-guaranteed, delivered in the UK.
