Smoking rules in Paris
France banned smoking in enclosed public places in 2008. A fumoir is a sealed, ventilated room that some bars and hotels are licensed to run, and terraces are open season most of the year. Check before you go.

Where do you buy Cuban cigars in Paris?
At a civette or bureau de tabac; prices are fixed nationally, so buy where the humidor is best kept. A La Civette on Rue Saint-Honoré is the oldest.
Can you smoke indoors in Paris?
Only in a licensed fumoir. Several of the venues above have one; the rest smoke on the terrace.
Can I bring my own cigars?
Bring your own cigars only where the venue allows it; most lounges charge a cutting fee or expect you to buy from their humidor. A travel humidor and a two-finger cutter cover a weekend away.
