The act of placing the band on a finished cigar; also the band itself.
In a Cuban factory the anilladoras are the workers who place the band, by hand, on every finished cigar. The geometry of where the band sits on the cigar - relative to the cap and the foot - is set by brand template and is one of the cues used in band-level authentication.
