Aged & Vintage

Cigars rested for years past their box date. Develops mellower, sweeter notes.

Aged cigars have rested for several years past the date stamped on the underside of the box. The leaf loses harsh top notes and develops mellower flavours of leather, cocoa and sweet hay. Vintage typically denotes ten or more years of rest. The condition of the wrapper, not just the date, is what determines whether a cigar has aged or simply dried out.
