How it smokes
The tapered head of a figurado changes the way the smoke reaches the palate. The Piramides is often confused with the Campanas vitola, which is commonly marketed as a Belicoso or Belicosos Finos. Both are figurados featuring a tapered head and a 52 ring gauge. However, the Piramides is longer at 156 mm, whereas the Campanas measures 140 mm (5.5 inches). The extra 16 mm on the Piramides provides a slightly longer smoking time and a slower development of the blend.

When inspecting a box of Piramides, always check the box code to verify the factory and production date. The pointed heads are delicate; ensure they are intact and the wrappers are unblemished near the cap.
